Candy Cane Cookie Recipe

All you need to make this delicious holiday cookies are a few simple ingredients you probably already have on hand:

  • butter
  • egg
  • vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar
  • almond extract
  • all purpose flour
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • granulated sugar
  • red food coloring
  • crushed candy canes

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix thoroughly the 2 sticks of softened butter, 1 cup o powdered sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.

Blend in 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 2 1/2 cups flour.
