How to make Dried Orange Slices

- Thinly slice your oranges.
- Pat dry and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake!
How long do they keep?
These dried orange slices, once cooled, should be kept it an airtight container at room temperature. They will be edible for up to two years and can be used as decorations for as long as you like!
How do you use them?
Dehydrated oranges have so many uses, they are so handy to have on standby!
- Add them to Christmas Sangria and Mulled Wine.
- Garnish co*cktails like Orange Cranberry Bourbon Smash.
- Add them to potpourri for an wonderful home fragrance.
- Add them to a Christmas wreath or string them together for a garland.
- Decorate baked goods like Orange Sweet Bread.
Can you eat them?
Yes, they are totally edible and are safe to eat! They are great to snack on, or finely cut them up and add them to granola or muesli or stir into baked goods.
Tips!
- Check hourly to make sure the oranges are not burning. If they are starting to brown but not dried yet, reduce the temperature of the oven and keep checking until fully dry.
- This is a great recipe if you have a lot of oranges you need to use up before they go bad!

Dried Orange Slices Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 Oranges or as many as you want!
Instructions
Line an oven tray with parchment paper.
Thinly slice the oranges.
Blot the orange slices with paper towels to remove moisture.
Place the slices in a single layer on top of the parchment paper.
Bake in the oven (120C/250F) for around 3 hours. Check hourly to make sure the oranges are not burning. If they are starting to brown but not dried yet, reduce the temperature of the oven and keep checking until fully dry.
