Instructions
Instructions are for 2 servings. Please modify as needed.
Preheat the oven to 450°F (225°C).
Cut cheese into 8–10 pieces.
Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of cheese.
Place on a baking sheet and bake in oven for 10–15 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
Tip!
Don’t feel like turning on the oven? Fry the cheese in a frying pan over medium-high heat with a bit of oil or butter. Switch it up a little by subbing pancetta for the bacon. Try adding one – or more – of these amazing dips!
Air fryer method
Preheat the air fryer to 425°F (220°C).
Proceed with steps 2 and 3 of the recipe.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with coconut oil. Place the wrapped cheese in the basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

Amazing! So much scrummy salty taste.
Had these breakfast today as I didn't want eggs (had made frittata for lunch) and think chia seed porridge was causing stomach issues.
They're a new favourite. I let them cool down for 10mins before eating so were warm.

Proper. As someone who's had a gastrectomy and RNY bypass, i can't fit much in, so what goes in has to be salty, and full of the "bad things"
Sadly the test cook didn't go well, as they were snaffled by my uncle, fiancee, and parents! Lovely! *humphf"
I mde myself two more and utter heaven. Will try it with serrano/parma ham soon.

The maths on this just doesn't add up. A slice of bacon is 12% fat, 19% protein; halloumi 21% protein, 25% fat. How then, does combining them result in something which is 78% fat?

Made these today for lunch, served on mixed greens with some cherry tomatoes. Excellent! I found trying to turn them made them fall apart and wasn’t necessary, they came out fine without turning. This one is a keeper as well!

The serving sizes that this defaults to in this case 2, is that 4g carbs for 1 serving or is it 4g for one halloumi and bacon wrap?

This is 4g carbs per serving.

I made these today, but sadly they didn't work well for me. British bacon usually has massive amounts of water in it which comes out during cooking. I ended up effectively boiling the individual cheese & bacon pieces rather than roasting them.
I will try this again, but I'll fry them, emptying the water as I go along to see if it improves the outcome.

Hi What is the best bacon to use on keto in the uk?
Any bacon with about equal lean and fat will be good.

Most foods that need to be refrigerated can safely be stored for 3-5 days.

In the UK it would be "streaky bacon"

Dry cured bacon doesn't have the added water.

I loved this but the amount suggested for one person is way too much for me to eat.

So glad you love it! Eat to hunger, that's the key! :)

I made this for lunch today. I used a pack of halloumi and a pack of bacon, so the amounts were slightly different from the recipe, but I made sure I had equal slices of cheese for number of pieces of bacon. This was an easy light touch meal that cooked in the oven while I continued working. I served on a bed of baby spinach. Yum!

Are these 4g carbs or net carbs per serving? Also what is fat, protein and calories please?
