Wiley George A. Wiley, 50, of 405 Selfridge Bethlehem, died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was employed in the central tool division of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 30 years.

(Jefferson) Bean. Airman Hurt in Fall Dies at Turkey Base Air Force Sgt. Dennis P. Betz, 20, of Mertztown R. 1, died Sunday in a military hospital of injuries received April 23 when he fell four stories from his living quarters in Ankara, Turkey.

Sgt. Betz was the hospital dietician at the Air Force base in Ankara. The airman's parents, Edgar W. and Jean B. (Derr) Betz of Mertztown R.

1, were notified last Friday that their son was critically injured. They were bedside making when preparations notified to visit of his death. Born in Allentown, Sgt. Betz attended the Longswamp Township schools and graduated in 1967 from Brandywine Heights High School. Constantine Kufudakis Constantine "Gus" Kufudakis, 81, formerly of Bethlehem, died yesterday in Gracedale, Nazareth R. 1. He was a restaurant worker most of his life and was employed in the maintenance department of Lehigh University. Born in Turkey, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

2 Schools To Absorb St. Kieran's Special to The Morning Call MINERSVILLE St. Kieran's Parochial School, Heckscherville, five miles north of Minersville, will be closed permanently at the end of the present school term. All pupils will be absorbed by two Minersville parochial schools. Starting with the 1970-71 school term, pupils in Grades 1, 3, 5 and 7 will attend classes in St.

Vincent's Parochial School. Pupils in Grades 2, 4, 6 and 8 will attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parochial School. The Rev. Francis X. Barrett, rector of St.

Kieran's Catholic Church, said the Board of Education of the Allentown Catholic Diocese "has reluctantly apthe closing of the school." He cited low enrollment (66 pupils) and a shortage of sisters as the principal reasons for the action. During a meeting of the parishioners of the Heckscherville Parish, Sister M. Saint Raymond, assistant superintendent of elementary education of the diocese, pointed out the advantages of children attending single grades in contrast to a double-grade situation. The latter was a necessity at St. Kieran's.

Sister Marguerite Marie, cipal of St. Vincent's, and Sister Mary Nicholas, principal of Lady of Mt. Carmel, spoke briefly at the meeting. He was the husband of the former Marion Shireman. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Esias and Hannah (Hinnerschietz) Christman. He was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Elizabeth S. (Lelko) Bundra. He was employed by the Theodore Fritzinger Landscaping Kuhnsville, for the past eight years.

He formerly was employed by the Lehigh Portland Cement Ormrod plant before it closed. Born in Fogelsville, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Tutko) Bundra. He was a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Cathloic Church, Northampton. He was a resident of Northampton 43 years. Bruce B. Beltz, 52, of Center Valley R. 1, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital from injuries received in a fall the roof of his home Saturday. He had been in the intensive care unit at the hospital since being injured while working on the chimney of his home. He was the manager of the Asbury Graphite Bethlehem.

He was the husband of the former Hilda Gilly. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Daniel and Pearl E. (Schaffer) Beltz. He was a member and former council member of the Friedensville Lutheran Church, Friedensville. Surviving besides his widow are three sons, Donald R.

of Horsham, Montgomery County, and David and Jeffrey, both at Lions Pool Mails Out Ticket Forms The Palmer Lions' community swimming pool has mailed 1,000 applications for the 1970 season to last year's members. The pool will open at 12:30 p.m. May 30. Family membership is $30 up to Sunday and will jump to $35 after Sunday. Individual tickets are $15 until Sunday and then will rise to $17.50.

The increases are because of the higher costs of utilities and supplies. A down payment of $10 or more will hold the ticket until it is picked up. New residents in the township who did not belong previously may send their $10 to Post Office Box 766 or may call 253-2128 to inquire about tickets. The team, headed by Dr. Glenn A. Good, a professor at Bloomsburg State College, is making a study of the district's educational program to determine its effectiveness and whether it meets the needs of the pupils. The evaluators arrived Sunday afternoon and were introduced to members of the school board, administrators and high school staff during a dinner at Split Rock Lodge, Lake Harmony. Last night, the evaluators were guests at a dinner in Bear Mountain Inn, Jim Thorpe, and tonight they will attend a dinner at Smith's Stoney Creek Hotel, Penn Forest Township.

The team will conclude its work tomorrow. The school district will receive a report on the study in about six weeks. $500 Raised By Jaycees At Auction The Tamaqua Jaycees announced yesterday about $500 was realized in the eighth annual vacation auction held at Lakeside Ballroom. Members said about 500 persons visited the auction to bid on the 30 vacations that were sold. The prices ranged from $1 to $60, officials added.

The proceeds will be used to promote community projects of the chapter. Douglas Houser of New Ringgold R. 2 was the auctioneer. New chapter officers were installed and a variety of awards were presented during a dinner program in Edgemont Lodge, Lansford. Manuel Filloy is the new chapter president.

Richlandtown Officials Make Road Inspection Richlandtown Borough fathers recently toured their borough's streets on a road inspection and found to their satisfaction that most of the streets are in excellent condition, according to Borough Secretary Raymond Slotter. However, an area of about 4,000 square feet was found to be in need of resurfacing on 1st Avenue and Walnut Street near the intersection of these two roads. Slotter said these roads will be repaired during the summer months a an estimated cost of $920.
